Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: March 2026  ·  Agape Education Foundation

Agape Education Foundation is committed to ensuring that our website and programs are accessible to all people — including those with disabilities. Accessibility is not a compliance checkbox for us. It is a direct expression of our mission: unconditional service in the best interest of others.

Our Commitment

We are working to ensure that agapeeducationnwi.org conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. These guidelines cover a range of recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

Current Accessibility Features

Active

Semantic HTML Structure

Pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and semantic elements to support screen reader navigation.

Active

Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements — links, buttons, and form fields — are accessible via keyboard navigation without requiring a mouse.

Active

Color Contrast

Text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements for readability.

Active

Responsive Design

The site adapts to different screen sizes and text zoom levels without loss of content or functionality.

Active

Form Labels

All contact form fields have associated labels that are readable by assistive technologies.

In Progress

Alt Text for Images

We are in the process of ensuring all meaningful images have descriptive alternative text as content is added.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, we acknowledge that some areas of our site may not yet meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. Areas currently under review include:

We are actively working to address these limitations and will update this statement as improvements are made.

Physical Program Accessibility

Agape Education Foundation is committed to making all of its programs, events, and facilities physically accessible. Our flagship Genesis Convention Center District project includes ADA-compliant design specifications throughout, including accessible entrances, elevators, restrooms, seating areas, and a dedicated sensory room in the arena. Accessibility requirements are built into our design standards from day one — not retrofitted after the fact.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website and programs. If you experience any barriers, have difficulty accessing any content, or would like to request information in an alternative format, please contact us:

Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is not a one-time fix. We conduct periodic reviews of our site and update our practices as standards evolve and as our content grows. This statement will be updated to reflect those changes.
